Creative mornings

The goal of these Creative Mornings is to encourage both adults and children to enter the puppet universe in a playful and creative manner. Every month, on the last Sunday morning, we invite parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, uncles/aunts and nephews/nieces to visit the Museum and create puppets using different techniques and materials.

Creative mornings are held on the last Sunday of each month from 10:30 to 12:30

Puzzles in the Museum

Puzzles in the Museum is a game for families. Parents and children follow a set of clues that allow them to find some special pieces of our Museum. Each track is both a task that must be concluded by the children so that each game becomes in the end, unique and very personalized. The use is free and the game may be taken home!

Available during school holidays

Holiday Workshops

During school holidays Museu da Marioneta organises one week follow-up workshops, during which participants may develop their knowledge, exploring the different expressions of puppets shows: creating a story, assembling sets, creating puppets and learning how to manipulate them.

Birthday Parties

The museum promotes the achievement of playful and educational activities with the support of numerous books, games and puppets.

It is the ideal place for holding birthday parties for children from 5 to 12 years.
