The Guard of the Night tells the story of M., a little girl, who has to sleep alone in her bedroom for the first time tonight, her parents do not want that she runs to their bed, when she hears only a small noise… She must learn how to deal with the darkness and noises of the night…
Her mother kisses her goodnight and tells her not to worry because the Guard of the Night takes cares of all children.
M. is alarmed with the shadows that she sees in her room, but the worse it is for coming… its a stormy night… lightning and thunders invade its space… M. is hidden inside of sheets, hears a noise, sees a reflex… there is somebody in her room!
It is the Guard of the Night… that will take her in an unforgettable journey… During this night she will learn about storms, wind, stars… and she will win the FEAR!
The Guard of the Night it’s a show with puppets, shadows and projections, conceived with the purpose of awake the sensitive and cognitive capacities of the children, fomenting the discovery and the study, exploring an educational and scientific component, allied to the magical side of the artistic creation.
Scientific universe combined with the theatre. The eternal infantile curiosity explored in all its directions. The fear that hinders many times the discovery and the natural progression in the involving environment. The world of marvellous and fairy tales allied with the real world.
